Suleim Consultancy, a leading consultancy firm based in Doha, is looking for an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of all hardware and software systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support to staff, addressing hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PCs, servers, printers, networking equipment, and other IT systems.
• System Maintenance: Assist in regular maintenance and updates of the company’s IT systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely.
• Network Management: Support the management and maintenance of the company’s local area network (LAN), ensuring stability and security.
• Hardware/Software Installation: Install, configure, and update software and hardware components as needed.
• Backup Management: Assist in regular data backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Security: Monitor IT systems for security vulnerabilities and assist in implementing measures to protect the network and data.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation of IT systems, including user manuals, system configurations, and troubleshooting logs.
• User Training: Provide training and support for staff on using new or updated software, systems, and technologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance.

Requirements:

• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a consultancy or similar business environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, network management, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco, or Microsoft would be an advantage.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues efficiently with attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff.
